Founder and CEO

Mr. Terry Oehring has an extensive background in the Information Technology field, with over 15 years of experience in hands-on roles as a technology leader. The past eight years have included the financial services and banking sector. His diverse background in IT management, coupled with his knowledge of information security and regulatory compliance, provides a combination of both strategic vision and tactical delivery.

Before founding Solis Security, Mr. Oehring served as Information Security Director for the S1 Corporation where he designed a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) solution. This solution specialized in providing information security services and consulting to small and medium sized banking institutions.

In 2003, Mr. Oehring left S1 to start Solis Security Inc. The Austin, Texas-based company focuses on IT infrastructure, information security, and regulatory compliance consulting to the banking sector. Clients range in asset size from $20 million De Novos to institutions with over $10 billion in assets.

Mr. Oehring serves on the Board of Directors for the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo where he actively participates in fundraising events and activities to generate scholarship funds for Texas high school students.

Brent Stackhouse, GSEC, GCIH, Sun CSA, Check Point CCSA/CCSE
VP of Security

 With over 14 years of IT experience in a wide range of organizations, including 10 years working with various security-related technologies, Brent Stackhouse brings real-world technical experience and business savvy to the Solis team.

Mr. Stackhouse has been the lead security technologist for multiple companies, including the online banking provider FundsXpress. He served there as a member of the Security Team, which formulated company-wide security strategies and prioritized current security issues. He held the roles of Incident Response Coordinator; Vulnerability Remediation Coordinator; Firewall, IDS, and VPN Administrator; and performed regular vulnerability assessments for both the perimeter and internal networks. In addition, he has a strong background in IPSec VPN and UNIX technologies, which he has brought to bear when securing various banking application deployments.
